Featuring an EVA handle and Fuji DPS reel seat with full SIC rings throughout (30mm butt down to a 12mm tip) and supplied with a powerfull isotope for night fishing. The Drennan power barbel is an excellent choice for larger rivers, big fish and heavier mainlines in the 8 to 15lb bracket.

Capable of casting leads and feeders to 4oz plus and has exceptional reserves of power. The tip is painted glo-white for better visibility in low light conditions. The larger ringing makes for less problems with debris building up and jamming the rings in flood conditions as well as aiding casting with heavier mainlines. The drennan specialist barbel can be matched with mainlines between 6 and 15lbs and can be used with the full range of methods from rolling baits downstream to casting 3oz + feeders and bombs.

Designed specifically for barbel fishing, this high modulous blank is light, well balanced and has significant reserves of power. The rod has a forgiving semi-through action with resposive shock absorber tip which is painted glo-white for visibility in dim light.
