There is a very good reason for that. The team had noticed that coated hook points just aren’t as sharp as uncoated ones, so they devised a clever solution. The resulting Kaptor point is uncoated, yet corrosion resistant and each hook has its own protective Kap. These little rubber blobs are a completely new concept in hook manufacture that maintain the incredible sharpness of each and every Kaptor. The Choddys can also be used with many different pop-up presentations due to the out-turned eye. Hook holds are always firm due to the slightly beaked point and carp find them very difficult to eject.

Carp find this pattern very tricky to eject due to its curved shank, which drives into their bottom lip. It always flips when sucked in and there is no need to add any shrink tubing due to its in-turned eye. A firm favourite among some of the best carp anglers in the country.

The Hybrid Longshank X is designed for ultra riggy fish on pressured waters. The long straight point will catch hold in the mouth faster than any other hook.
